The Hidden World
This is a picture of a great shade plant called "bleeding heart." It truly is beautiful when you take a closer look at it. This plant is also a very powerful and poignant reminder of how it feels to have your heart broken. To those of you who have at some point in life lost a loved one, seen someone close suffer because of poor decisions, or loved someone who could not reciprocate that same love; when you see a bleeding heart you know that this overlooked flower adequately illustrates how it feels to have your heart broken. I can't help but think of the Savior's heart, which broke for us, as he bled in Gethsemane.
